Replace existing meter with a new meter-main panel that includes breaker spaces, including one dedicated space for the pool sub-panel. Replace the existing pool sub-panel and provide GFCI protection for all pool equipment. Upgrade and update the grounding and bonding system to meet current code requirements. Install whole-house surge protection. Work to be completed under required permit and subject to county inspection and approval. Today as we returned December 18, I’ve come back to fulfill the estimate of replacing the outside meter base and burned up subpanel. What’s the power company cut power to the house? I removed the existing damaged meter base and replaced it with a new Siemens 200 amp meter base. I also removed both of the sub panels that were on the side of the house connected to the meterbase. Arrived and found that the rheem gas control valve on water heater in garage is 2 years old and defective. Customer already discussed issue with rheem. Replaced gas control valve we provided and replaced burner assembly supplied by customer from rheem. Tested and inspected. Working properly now. Gas control valve $175.00 Labor $384
Called out to clear a backed up kitchen sink, ran cable throughout line to clear blockage which was grease tested thoroughly line is open and flowing at this time.
A troubleshooting inspection was performed for a tripping breaker at the pool sub-panel. The sub-panel is fed from the meter-main, and a direct short within the sub-panel caused the main breaker to trip. The fault also damaged the bus bar, resulting in the sub-panel requiring full replacement. The short originates from faulty pool equipment, which must be inspected and/or replaced prior to installing the new sub-panel. Estimates for the required repairs have been attached.
Replace water line from meter to inside home by trenching to side of home, entered garage and running pipe into attic. Replace 40 gallon gas water heater located in attic. This is a guaranteed fix to the leak that appeared in garage and laundry area and dining room area beside laundry room that was present at time of arrival. Today I came out because the main breaker had tripped due to miswired pool time clock. I turned off the breakers that control the pool equipment and spa and reset the main breaker to restore power to the home for the time being. Homeowner is going to have us back out when he gets back Check everything to make sure it is safe.
Came out for a no cool. Found blower motor and cap are bad. Motor and wires are arching. Left power off at furnace switch. No flood protection. Cleared drain line. Scheduled install supervisor to come today between 2-5. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Called out for toilet not working correctly. Upon arrival, found toilet in master bathroom not flushing correctly. Found that bevel on flapper had broken off and fell into flush valve. Removed bevel piece and performed minor rebuild on toilet installing new fill valve and flapper. Tested for leaks. No leaks were found. Toilet is working how it should. Found water pressure in home is at almost 120 psi. Highly recommend having pressure regulator valve replaced. Also found tankless water heater from 2008. Recommend having water heater replaced as well. Cleaned work areas.
